In 2017, situated in Chelsea, London, Donata Davidoff, an independent demi-couture atelier was launched. The design ethos has never changed: to create timeless wardrobe staples to couture standards for contemporary, stylish women. Committed to excellence, her aim is to share her love for good design to an international woman whilst still remaining close to the artisanal process.
Donata Davidoff is a direct to consumer business, whereby the designer can oversee every element through her short design and supply chain: from sketching, to sourcing fabrics, meeting with factory workers and manufacturing. She is continuously visiting the highest quality fabric suppliers across UK, Italy and France, whilst production is carried out in the same factories she grew up around in Lithuania.
Whilst at Donata Davidoff we believe the most ethical way in fashion is to buy timeless, high quality pieces that can be reworked over years, we constantly look at new materials and fabrics to make the sustainable choice. We also work on door to door delivery and a try-on-at-home service as a way to reduce carbon footprint.
Donata is also on hand to build a one on one relationship with clients for fittings, bespoke designs and style advice as a way to support our community of inspirational women.
Donata is inspired by professional working women everywhere. She aims to provide the perfect capsule wardrobe that is season-less and timeless, yet modern and aspirational. The label reflects the clients, responding to the needs and wants of women who navigate daily life with elegance and style. Donata explains, ‘I want to celebrate and empower women, embrace their strengths and potential through clothes. What we wear says so much about us and what we want to say to the world. Dressing up gives us confidence, an innate elegance. This lies at the heart of everything I do.’
